This report provides insight into treatment approaches, brand utilization, perceived product advantages and disadvantages, as well as sales and marketing efforts of key players.  Emphasis is on the treatment of renal anemia (ESAs and IV Iron), Hyperphosphatemia (Phosphate Binders), and Secondary Hyperparathyroidism (Vitamin D and Calcimimetics). 

Methodology and Sample Frame:

The report will highlight responses from a random sample of approximately 110 Nephrologists from Mexico (n=30), Brazil (n=50), and Argentina (n=30) who will complete a self-administered internet survey.  The methodology is quantitative with several open-ended questions for qualitative feedback.  Nephrologists must meet certain screening criteria, including having been in practice between 2 and 30 years and having a minimum of 50 dialysis patients (or 100 later stage CKD patients) under management.

Timing:

TreatmentTrends: Latin American Nephrology Market will be fielded in May and published in June.
