TreatmentTrends®: Lupus
A New Syndicated Report Providing Insight into the Management of Patients Across the Spectrum of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
Study Overview:
TreatmentTrends are syndicated reports that provide longitudinal information on market dynamics. This report provides insight into practice patterns, attitudes and perceptions, current product use and future projections. It evaluates perceived product advantages and disadvantages, as well as sales and marketing efforts of key players. Emphasis is on immunosuppressants, biologic agents, antimalarials, and corticosteroids in the management of SLE. Awareness of products in development such as Human Genome Science’s Benlysta and new treatment strategies will be explored in depth.
Methodology and Sample Frame:
A self-administered internet survey will be completed by 100 rheumatologists who have at least 50 patients with SLE under their management. The methodology is quantitative with several open-ended questions for qualitative feedback. A wave of qualitative phone interviews will also be conducted among 10 rheumatologists.
Timing:
TreatmentTrends for SLE will be fielded in May 2010 and published on June 21, 2010.
Deliverables:
In addition to the final report provided in power point format, a complete set of frequency tables, summary statistics, and cross-tabulations will be provided. Clients will also receive a customized report with information from their proprietary questions (each client has the option to include up to three proprietary questions). Onsite or web-cast presentations are available upon request at no charge.
